I haven't gotten my birth doula certification yet as I've been so busy with my three little ones, planting our first garden, and planning a juicefeast starting this Saturday! You can read more about my juicefeast on my other blog, SAD to RAW. I graduate this Saturday from the Graduate Public Health program at the University of New England!! YAY!! And Monday I start the Certified Lactation Counselor course taking place in York, ME. It's everyday from 8:15 - 4:30 and I will have my certification by Friday!!
Once we get through this next week, I will be a brighter, happier, juicier me and will be actively looking for doula clients. Right now I will be focusing on postpartum support since it will fit better into my family's schedule. So if you know anybody in their "fourth" trimester looking for support, the first 8 hours are free with an evaluation! I think the best time for postpartum support is after school if you have more children, evenings during dinner rush, and overnight with multiples. I will be spending my mornings juicing and getting my children dressed for the day, so mornings are out for me, but call me and we can work something out!!
